It is the storehouse of my identity and my sense of place. These vast and shadowy spaces speak to me about growing up - watching blurred, barely illuminated, overgrown, viney landscapes rush by the windows of a travelling car. Colors and shapes as fleeting and intensely saturated form. They are about that energy. Ebb of Light, 18x24, oil/canvas, 2006, Jacob Cooley Evening, 18x24, oil on canvas, 2008, Jacob Cooley
