                               This imagery to me, as someone who grew up in the South, is loaded with reminiscence.  It is the storehouse of my identity and my sense of place.  These vast and shadowy spaces speak to me about growing up - watching blurred, barely illuminated, overgrown, viney landscapes rush by the windows of a travelling car.  Colors and shapes as fleeting and intensely saturated form.  They are about that energy.
